Facilitative Leadership Working Group
Purpose: To extend the learning from Facilitative Mediation training to application of the tools into your daily life. This includes your family, your colleagues, and especially in the workplace as a leader and manager.
Format: Five 90-minute monthly meetings
A cohort style, small group that meets once a month for five months (Jan-May). Designed for both recent Essentials participants and alumni. We plan to keep the group small (max. 10) and to utilize real-life experiences, debriefs, etc. For example, session topics may include:
Setting goals inclusive to the diverse group
Team Development
Difficult Conversations one-on-one
Employee Development:
The Leader as Facilitator and Guide
The Supervisor/Employee Relationship
Accountability and Direct Communication
Time Management and Work-life Balance
Location: Will rotate based on participants’ locations
Schedule: Mornings on the 3rd Thursday of each month (1/16, 2/20, 3/20, 4/10*, 5/15)
Tuition: $499
Minimum number of registrants required for course to be offered. Discounts available for nonprofit and public sector. Must be requested prior to completing registration.
